UK & France – AB Automotive Electronics and AB Automotive France, subsidiaries of the global electronics manufacturing company TT electronics plc, won automotive climate control contracts worth over £140 million, over the life of the contracts, in 2003.

TT electronics acquired AB Automotive France (previously known as Demo Tableaux de Commande) in March 2003 and, by combining the company’s design and manufacturing facilities with those offered by AB Automotive in Cardiff, TT electronics has been able to significantly increase its climate control capabilities.

AB Automotive Electronics is a supplier of climate control units, body electronics and switch assemblies to vehicle manufacturers and major system integrators worldwide. AB Automotive France designs and manufactures automotive climate control panels for customers based mainly in France, on Renault, Peugeot and Citroen vehicles. The company’s head office is in Le Mans with additional manufacturing facilities near Sao Paulo, Brazil.
