TT electronics plc, the global electronics manufacturing company, has appointed Dean Fisher as Business Development Director for its automotive sensors and systems division with immediate effect. Fisher, 42, will be responsible for implementing the business strategy to maintain and grow TT electronics’ automotive contracts on a global basis.

Fisher joined TT electronics subsidiary AB Automotive Electronics in 1996 as the Sales & Marketing Director. During his time in the role he has grown ABAE’s climate control business significantly, establishing a US office in Detroit to exploit the company’s North American business and growing annual confirmed US sales from $3 million to a forecasted $40 million in 2005.

Fisher’s new role gives him responsibility at TT electronics group level, working with each automotive subsidiary to devise an effective plan for business growth. He reports to Neil Rodgers, Divisional Chief Executive, at the company’s head office in Surrey.
